Yugawatt (“we,” “us,” or “our”) builds neighborhood EV charging that works. This policy explains what we collect when you visit yugawatt.com, join a waitlist, or contact us, and how we use that information.
1. Who we are
Yugawatt is a neighborhood EV charging network. Our public site is Yugawatt.com. For privacy questions, email hello@yugawatt.com.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
Contact details you submit on forms — such as name, email, phone, ZIP code, and optional comments.
Preferences you choose — for example whether you want to host, drive, invest, partner, or receive updates.
Consent records — that you agreed to be contacted and accepted this policy, including when and which form version you saw.
Technical data needed to run the site securely — such as basic request logs, browser type, and approximate location derived from IP for security and operations. We do not sell this data.
3. How we use information
To respond to waitlist, partnership, investor, and host/driver interest.
To operate, secure, and improve yugawatt.com and our products.
To send transactional messages you requested (for example a confirmation or follow-up about your signup).
To comply with law and protect the service against abuse or fraud.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use form submissions for unrelated advertising networks.
4. How we share information
We share information only as needed to run Yugawatt:
Service providers who help us host email, infrastructure, or analytics under contract (for example email delivery and cloud hosting).
Team members who need it to respond to your request.
Legal requirements when we believe disclosure is required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We may use essential cookies or local storage so forms work (for example remembering a language choice or recovering a failed submit). We do not use third-party ad trackers on the Power the Ask landing page for cross-site advertising.

We keep form submissions and related records for as long as needed to operate the waitlist and early product, respond to you, and meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete or correct your information using the contact below.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; please use a strong unique password for any Yugawatt accounts we later offer.
8. Your choices
You can decline optional fields (such as phone or comments).
You can request access, correction, or deletion of your form data by emailing hello@yugawatt.com.
You can unsubscribe from non-essential marketing emails using the link in those messages, when applicable.
9. Children
Yugawatt is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as Yugawatt grows. We will post the new version on this page and update the effective date. Material changes may also be noted on yugawatt.com.
